1. Overview
PP PDF / PP Docs is a PDF viewer and document tool app for Android. The app is designed to help users open, view, search, and work with PDF or document files on their device.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be accessed, processed, stored, collected, or shared when you use the app.
2. Information you provide directly
The app does not require you to create an account. The app does not directly ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, physical address, account login details, or payment card details.
If you contact support by email, we will receive the information you choose to include in that email, such as your email address, app issue, screenshots, device details, or any files you choose to attach.
3. Files and documents you choose to open
The app may let you select PDF files, images, or other documents from your device. These files are used to provide the features you choose, such as viewing, searching, merging, signing, splitting, compressing, converting, sharing, or opening documents.
Files selected in the app are intended to be processed on your device. PieterPan Digital does not operate a server that automatically receives or stores your documents. Your files may leave your device only if you choose to share them, open them in another app, email them to support, back them up through your own services, or use another external service.
4. Local app data stored on your device
The app may store app-related information locally on your device, such as preferences, recent file references, premium status, tool settings, output file names, and other settings needed for the app to function properly.
Local app data may be removed when you clear the app data, uninstall the app, or delete files manually from your device.
5. Permissions and device access
Depending on your Android version and the features you use, the app may request access to files, documents, images, storage, or media through Android system pickers or permissions. This access is used to let you select, view, save, edit, share, or manage documents.
The app should only request permissions that are needed for its document-related features.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
If you buy a premium feature, subscription, or lifetime unlock, the purchase is handled by Google Play Billing. PieterPan Digital does not receive your full payment card details. The app may receive purchase status information from Google Play so that premium features can be unlocked or restored.
7. Ads, analytics, and crash diagnostics
Depending on the installed version, settings, user consent, and availability, the app may use third-party services such as Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google Play services.
These services may process information such as app interactions, approximate device information, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, purchase status, and other technical information needed to provide ads, analytics, billing, and app reliability features.
These third-party services process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
8. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- Provide document viewing and document tool features.
- Save app settings and local preferences.
- Restore premium access or purchase status.
- Diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance problems.
- Improve app reliability and usability.
- Respond to support and privacy requests.
- Show ads or rewarded ads where enabled and permitted.
9. Sharing of information
PieterPan Digital does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only where needed for app features, diagnostics, ads, billing, analytics, legal compliance, or support. Your documents are not intentionally uploaded to PieterPan Digital servers.
If you choose to share a document using Android sharing features, the selected receiving app or service will handle that file according to its own privacy practices.
10. Data retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app data, or uninstall the app. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, keep business records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

11. Security
We aim to handle information responsibly and use reasonable measures to protect information processed through the app and support channels. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
12. Children’s privacy
The app is not specifically directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support contact, please contact us so we can review and respond appropriately.
13. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the “Last updated” date above will be changed. Continued use of the app after an update means the updated policy applies.
